Airplane Building  (1st class: ages 10-14)  Learn to build model airplanes out of inexpensive materials as well as the basics of aerodynamics.

Art - Painting(1st class  FULL : ages 7-14, 2nd class  FULL : ages 7-14)    A beginning art class using pastels, watercolors, and acrylics.  Students will be provided supplies to use and keep after class.  Each student will complete at least 3 works of art.

Baking  (1st class  FULL : ages 10-14, 2nd class  FULL : ages 7-10)  Learn how to read instructions, measure, and mix to make some delicious baked goods.

​

Basic Stamp Collecting  (1st class: ages 7-14)  Learn the basics of stamp collecting.  Each student will receive a stamp album to preserve over 100 stamps they will be given through the week.  One guaranteed to be over 100 years old.

​

Basketball  (1st class  FULL : ages 10-14, 2nd class: ages 7-10)  Learn the fundamental skills necessary to play basketball.

​

Beginner Chess  (1st class: ages 7-14)  Learn the fundamentals or improve your game!  In this class, we will learn about the basics of the chess pieces, techniques & strategies, and have fun playing.

Beginning Spanish  (1st class  FULL : ages 7-14)  Spanish for newbies--if you're brand new to Spanish, this is the class for you!  We will learn basic words and a little bit about some Spanish-speaking cultures.

​

Crafts  (both classes: ages 7-10)  Make-it, take-it crafts.  Learn how to make these same crafts with your friends at home.

​

Diamond Art  (1st class  FULL : ages 7-14, 2nd class  FULL : ages 7-14)  Make picture art using diamond painting.  The first project will be a key-chain with more projects as time allows.

​

Fishing  (1st class  FULL : ages 7-14, 2nd class  FULL : ages 7-14)  Learn how to rig a pole, prepare fish hooks, and discuss boating & bait.

​

Food Art  (1st class: ages 10-14, 2nd class  FULL : ages 7-10)  Learn to create edible works of art.

​

Geometric Art I  (1st class: ages 10-14)  Using curve stitching, point & line symmetry, and grids, students will make colorful geometric patterns.

​

Geometric Art II  (2nd class: ages 11-14)  If you enjoyed Geometric Art I, then let's take it a step further.  Taking what we learned about curve stitching, symmetry, and the use of grids, let's create even more designs by using compasses to add circle designs, pinwheels, and petals to our design possibilities.  (This is an advanced class for those who have already taken Geometric Art I.)

Grilling (both classes: ages 10-14)  Hands-on learning the basics of grilling.  Learn how to grill something new each day!

​

Guitar Basics  ( Closed due to illness...  both classes: ages 11-14)  Learn basic skills of guitar playing and how to play a song.  (Bring a guitar if you have one.)

​

Intermediate/Advanced Chess  (2nd class  FULL : ages 7-14)  Dive deeper into your knowledge of chess!  In this class, we will discuss openings, puzzles, utilizing the timer, and strategies in the mid-game and late-game.  The general focus of this class is to have fun.

Piano 101  (1st class: ages 7-10, 2nd class: ages 10-14)  Start learning basic piano skills. Learn to play a song.  (Bring a small keyboard if you have one.)  

​

Rocket Building  (1st class  FULL : ages 7-10, 2nd class: ages 10-14)  Build your very own model rocket that will fly.  

​

Rock Hounding (2nd class  FULL : ages 7-14)  Learn how to find, identify, polish, and display Michigan Rocks.

​

Rubik's Cube for Beginners (2nd class  FULL : ages 7-14)  Learn the secret to solving your Rubik's Cube.  (Please bring your own Rubik's Cube if you own one.)

​

Rubik's Cube for the Experienced (1st class: ages 7-14)  Learn the secret to solving your Rubik's Cube in less time.  YOU MUST ALREADY KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THE RUBIK'S CUBE TO TAKE THIS CLASS.  (Please bring your own Rubik's Cube if you own one.)

Soccer  (both classes: ages 7-14)  Learn the basic skills, strategies, and techniques of playing soccer.

Tae Kwon Do  (1st class: ages 10-14, 2nd class: ages 7-10)  Learn the stances and techniques of Tae Kwon Do with an authorized instructor.
