 2025 Class Options

Note:  There may be differences listed for the 1st and 2nd classes.  (Students will take 2 different classes each day throughout the week.)
Class sizes are limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
Class Times (1st and 2nd) are based on the teachers' schedule.

Airplane Building (1st class: ages 10-14)  Learn to build model airplanes out of inexpensive materials as well as the basics of aerodynamics.

Baking/Decorating  (both classes: ages 7-14, Both classes  FULL )  Make simple foods and enjoy!   YUM!!  YUM!!   

​​​​​

​​​​Balloon Art  (both classes: ages 10-14)  Learn how to make animals and cool things with balloons, such as dogs, swords, flowers, and guitars!

​​

​​​​Basic Woodworking  (both classes: ages 7-14, Both classes  FULL )  Learn basic woodworking skills while building a birdhouse and creatively painting it.  

​​​​​​

BBQ Grilling  (both classes: ages 10-14, 1st class  FULL )  BBQ and sample a variety of meats and foods, learning various techniques and tips.  A new item every day!

Beginning Rocket Building  (1st class: ages 7-10,  FULL )  Build your very own model rocket that will fly.  

​​​

Beginning Spanish (1st class: ages 7-14)  Spanish for newbies.   If you are brand new to Spanish, this is the class for you!   We will learn basic words and a little bit about some Spanish-speaking cultures.

​​​

​​​Bible Study Tools  (1st class: ages 9-14)  Learn the tools to get the most out of your personal Bible reading and devotional times.

​​

Card Games  (2nd class: ages 7-14,  FULL )  Learn how to play a number of card games including Euchre, Kings on the Corner and Canasta. 

​​​

Cornhole and Yard Games  (both classes: ages 7-14)  Learn the rules and how to play and then practice such popular games as Corn Hole, Frisbee Golf and Bucket Golf.

​​​

Crafts  (both classes: ages 7-14, Both classes  FULL )  Make it, take it crafts, some recycled, and how to make these same crafts with your friends at home.

Diamond Art  (both classes: ages 7-14, Both classes  FULL )  You will make several different items.   Please sign up ONLY if you did NOT take this class last year.

Geometric Art  (both classes: ages 10-14)  Discover ways of making really cool and colorful art by using simple tools.

​​

Green Thumb Gardening  (2nd class: ages 10-14)  Experience the joy and satisfaction that comes with learning how to grow your very own healthy and delicious garden produce. 

​​​​​

​Handbell Choir  (both classes: ages 7-14)  Learn to play handbells and make music in a handbell choir. 

​​

Intermediate Rocket Building  (2nd class: ages 10-14,  FULL )   Build a more complicated model rocket.  

​​

Macramé (1st class: ages 10-14)  Learn how to make art work by knotting with yarn/rope.

​​

Piano 101  (1st class: ages 7-10, 2nd class: ages 10-14)  Start learning basic piano skills.  Learn to play a song.  (Bring a small keyboard if you have one.)

                  

Rock Art  (both classes: ages 7-14, 2nd class  FULL )  Learn how to transform ordinary rocks into attractive art pieces.

Rock Hounding  (2nd class: ages 7-14,  FULL )  Learn to find, identify, polish and display Michigan Rocks!

Rubik’s Cube 101  (both classes: ages 7-14, Both classes  FULL )  Solving the 3X3 Rubik’s Cube.

​Weather Tracking  (both classes: ages 7-14, 2nd class  FULL )  Learn to read the skies from a real live storm chaser.
